This is a personal UE4 project I did in my free time over the course of several months.
Basically everything was done by myself, but I bought an Unreal Package to get started and replaced nearly all assets and textures with my own (eccept the pine trees, the skybox and one ground texture). I also used some of the materials of the package, apart from that the Level Design, placement and all the foliage, houses, textures were done by myself from scratch. The video is in-game realtime footage.
My main goal was to create an interesting and believing level of a small village, where the people settled because of a special tree which they believe is a spiritual tree and therefore assembled their village more or less around that tree while being protected by the overhanging cliff.
The music is not from me! Its a music piece from the soundtrack of "The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt" Expansion Pack "Blood and Wine". The game was made by CD Project RED and the soundtrack composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz, Mikolai Stroinski & Piotr Musiał
